Celebrate a birthday at the DCM!
“Let’s get the party started!”
All Birthday Party Packages Include:
- All-day access to the entire Museum for you and your guests (9am-4:30pm). Explore seven hands-on exhibit galleries and experience our fun, educational, daily programs. Friends and family can come as early as they like before your celebration and stay as long as they wish after the party.
- A DCM Play Partner (birthday-party host) for one hour, who will provide playful birthday games and a hands-on activity.
- Private birthday-party room for one hour. (You may set up 30 minutes before your party’s scheduled start time).
- Refreshments are included (no outside food or drink)--you can choose the option below that best fits your party needs.
- You can bring your own birthday cake!
Note: Decorations are encouraged, but sorry, no latex or mylar balloons allowed (due to possible allergies and potential fire protection system set-off). Also, the Museum can not accommodate piñatas.
Party Packages for a Small Party
(20 people total, including all adults and children)
"Play" Party
All-day access to the entire Museum for you and your guests (9am-4:30pm).
A DCM Play Partner (birthday-party host) for one hour.
Private birthday-party room for one hour. (You may set up 30 minutes before your party’s scheduled start time.)
Refreshments included:
- Four pitchers of 100% natural, HFCS-free fruit juice (choose from apple, cranberry, orange, kiwi-strawberrry, grape, or fruit punch)
Price: $325 per party.
(Each additional person is $16, you may have up to 25 total people maximum; this includes the birthday party host family and child.)
Member Price: $250 per party.
(Each additional person is $12, you may have up to 25 total people maximum; this includes the birthday party host family and child).
"Pizza & Play" Party
All-day access to the entire Museum for you and your guests (9am-4:30pm).
A DCM Play Partner (birthday-party host) for one hour.
Private birthday-party room for one hour. (You may set up 30 minutes before your party’s scheduled start time.)
Refreshments included:
- Four pitchers of 100% natural, HFCS-free fruit juice (choose from apple, cranberry, orange, kiwi-strawberrry, grape, or fruit punch)
- Four 16" cheese pizzas, sliced in wedges or squares
Price: $400 per party.
(Each additional person is $20, you may have up to 25 total people maximum, this includes the birthday party host family and child).

*In order to receive member pricing, the DCM membership cardholder is required to book the party and present a valid membership card at check-in on the party date.
Larger Parties and Grown-Ups' Parties
