DCM Camps for grades K–4

Want to explore, discover, learn and play all day? Then grab your backpack and become a DCM camper! The DCM’s fun camp leaders will help campers in daily adventures with a focus on nature, science, physical fitness, and most of  all . . . fun! All camps include open play in the Museum’s exhibits, game time, lunch and snack time as well as themed activities and outdoor adventures. All camps are geared to children currently in kindergarten through fourth grade.

Summer Camps

August 22–August 26
Build It::  Become a master builder and bring your drawings to life. Whether stacking towers or constructing a complex metropolis, girls and boys become architects, builders, and engineers during this week-long block party at the DCM.

August 29–September 2
Camp Out!::  Set up a campsite inside the DCM and learn about outdoor critters as you snack on s’mores. Relax after a nature walk at the DCM’s version of a drive-in movie and fireworks show!

Registration Information

Day Camp (10am-3pm):

Member price: $225/week for first child registered.

$150/week for each additional sibling.

Non-Member price: $250/week for first child registered.
$175/week for each additional sibling.

Day Camp Xtra (8:30am-5:30pm):

Member price: $300/week for first child registered.

$225/week for each additional sibling.

Non-Member price: $325/week for first child registered.
$250/week for each additional sibling.

*Camp Details:: All camps run Monday through Friday with two options: Day Camp (10am–3pm) or Day Camp Xtra (8:30am-5:30pm). Campers should bring a bag lunch and comfortable clothing. Refrigeration for lunches and an allergy-free eating area will be provided.

Refund Policy:

Summer Camp: $100 non-refundable deposit for each week of camp for each child registered will be withheld in the event of a cancellation.
