Lean into the bank, gun it out of the corner, and zoom past the other drivers like a pro!

You'll find a colorful fleet of Roller Racers® in the DCM's Open Gallery, where you can exercise your bodies and brains . . .  and explore the mechanics and physics of racing and safety.

"DCM Speedway" (10am-12pm and 1-3pm)

Experience the physics of lateral friction, force, and torque firsthand as you move the handlebars from side to side, propelling yourself around the race track. For miniature racing fun, stop by the Pit Row and explore how fast you can make toy cars can go when you use inclines!

"Red Light/Green Light" (11-11:30am and 1-1:30pm)
Learn all about the rules of the road, and then play a wheeled version of the classic stop-and-go game.

Sunday, September 9—
