Etch A Sketch® People, Presidents, and Places

Saturday, January 14 -  Monday, February 20 (President’s Day)

The small but inspiring show features works from the artist Tim George, produced in the unusual and captivating children’s-toy medium, along with nearby opportunities for children to try their hands at creating artwork with Etch A Sketches.

The exhibition includes portraits of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; U.S. Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.; all 44 U.S. Presidents from George Washington to Barack Obama; and landmarks from around the country, such as Mount Rushmore and the White House.

George, a Columbus, Ohio, resident, first began drawing with the mechanical device in 1988 as a way to entertain his daughter, who was recovering from open-heart surgery. He is enthusiastic about children and adults using play in art and education . . . and just for fun!
