Field Trip Details
A Self-Guided Visit offers groups of any size a chance to explore the entire museum at their own pace. Children can make meaningful connections and discoveries in our hands-on exhibits. A self-guided visit provides the opportunity to informally explore learning concepts in new and engaging ways.

A Focused Field Trip offers students a planned, standards-based learning experience using the DCM's exhibits and resources to strengthen your in-class curriculum. These programs encourage playful learning through the use of hands-on investigations, open-ended inquiry, and group interaction. Please Note: Field trips are available for groups of 15 or more children, may last up to 2 hours long, and may be booked on Tuesdays through Fridays. Focused Field Trips must be reserved with full payment at least two weeks in advance.
