A truly unusual and exciting destination is taking shape for the children of Delaware and surrounding environs – the creation of a place that encourages local families, as well as tourists from out of town, to learn together while having fun.

Opening in 2009, The Delaware Children’s Museum will be a place that empowers kids of all ages, abilities, learning styles and backgrounds; a place for school and other special groups to engage in science-focused, inquiry based exploration and learning. The Museum will be a place that opens up a world of possibilities with always something new to discover – all in the spirit of imagination and adventure.
